One Amsterdam school closed because of water main break

William H. Barkley MicroSociety School is closed today because of a water main break.

The break happened in the area of Collins Street and Florida Avenue, according to Greater Amsterdam School District Superintendent Thomas Perillo.

Perillo said he hoped the problem would be fixed for classes to resume Tuesday.
