The parents of four children are facing misdemeanor charges for allegedly home-schooling their children without curriculum approval.
Richard W. Creesy, 47, and Margie A. Cressy, 41, were charged with four misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s department.
Police allege the children, aged 8 to 14, were not registered with the Fonda-Fultonville School District for the past seven years.
State Education Law requires the local school district superintendent to approve of home-schooling curriculum, according to police.
