A drunk city man allegedly broke into Mayor Ann Thane’s home this morning.
Police arrested Michael Iannotti, 21, for DWI and criminal mischief after he allegedly broke a window attempting to enter Thane’s Stewart Street home around 2 a.m.
Police said Iannotti was intoxicated and thought he was at a friend’s home. He fled the scene when he was confronted by Thane’s husband, Peter Thane.
Iannotti was released to his parents and is scheduled to reappear in Amsterdam City Court Monday.
