Union advances to ECAC Hockey championship game

Faces Cornell for title

Goalie Keith Kinkaid made 29 saves, and Adam Presizniuk scored the tie-breaking goal midway through the third period Friday, lifting third-seeded Union to a 3-1 victory over fifth-seeded St. Lawrence in the ECAC Hockey tournament semifinal at the Times Union Center.

The 15th-ranked Dutchmen (21-11-6) will face second-seeded and seventh-ranked Cornell in the championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Big Red beat 11th-seeded Brown, 3-0, in the opener.
