The Tea Party Express will stop in Albany next month to urge locals to vote out their national leaders.
The tour began on March 27 in Nevada and ends April 15 in Washington, D.C. Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will join the tour on April 14 in Boston, but is not scheduled to appear in Albany.
The tour stops here at 10 a.m. on April 13 at the state Capitol.
Its motto is, “Just vote them out!”
Organizers say that at each tour stop, they will highlight local representatives who should not be returned to Congress this fall.
Although none was named, they were described as “some of the worst offenders in Congress who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes, and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses.”
