Approximately 3,000 people in Rotterdam and Schenectady lost electricity last night when a dead tree fell on power lines on Broadway near Edgewood Avenue, National Grid said.
People lost power around 5:30 p.m., but almost all had their electricity restored by this morning, according to National Grid.
