Union’s Keith Kinkaid made 29 saves, while Dartmouth’s James Mello stopped 37 shots as the two teams played to a 0-0 ECAC Hockey tie.
It’s the fifth scoreless tie in the Dutchmen’s Division I history. The others were against Army 11/4/95, vs. Princeton 2/26/05, vs. Dartmouth 2/9/08 and vs. Lake Superior 11/27/09.
The 15th-ranked Dutchmen (1-0-1 ECACH, 6-1-3 overall) extended their unbeaten streak to seven games (4-0-3).
