ALBANY — Joey Accaoui came off the bench to score 19 points as Vermont beat Siena, 80-76, to stop the Saints’ 38-game home winning streak tonight.
Accaoui made two free throws with five seconds left to ice the victory.
Ryan Rossiter scored 14 points in the last 4:18 and finished with 27, but it wasn’t enough to come back from a 14-point deficit.
Evan Fjeld, the Catamounts’ best player, scored 19 points, but fouled out with 4:18 left.
