A Meco man is accused of hiding crack cocaine in a body cavity where it was discovered by authorities during a search on Tuesday night.
Solomon T. Wilson, 49, of 303 County Highway 101, was under surveillance by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration and Gloversville police as part of a monthlong investigation, according to a release from city police.
Suspecting he possessed drugs, police pulled Wilson over and waited for a search warrant before searching him and allegedly finding 15 individually wrapped pieces of crack cocaine concealed in his body cavity.
Wilson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and with violating parole.
State Police and Parole officers assisted in the arrests.
