A Schenectady architectural firm will design the entrance of the new battery plant at General Electric in Schenectady.
Synthesis, along with EYP Architects and Freidman Fisher Associates PC, will design the final phase of the project.
The design will feature a four-story lobby, offices and conference spaces.
The plant is scheduled to be completed in early 2012.
