The sixth annual Schenectady County SummerNight will be held today from 5 to 10 p.m. in downtown Schenectady.
The free event includes music by Bluz House Rockers, Cryin’ Out Loud and Ernie Williams. Additional featured performers include In Defense of Autumn, Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius & Heard and the Scotia-Glenville Pipe Band.
Activities for children include face painters, balloon artists, caricaturists, The Puppet People, Radio Disney Live!, hands-on activities from the Scotia-Glenville Children’s Museum, martial arts demos and the Siena Saints Experience.
Other SummerNight entertainment includes hypnotist Brian Mahar and sand artist Matt Deibert, who is starting his creation at 9 this morning.
