MANCHESTER, Vt. — A bedding manufacturer is relocating to Vermont, and bringing with it more than 100 jobs.
WCW, Inc., a family-owned company in Hoosick Falls in Rensselaer County plans to buy the former Moore-Wallace building in Manchester. The company has obtained preliminary approval for $522,484 from the Vermont Employment Growth Incentive Program.
Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin, who announced the move today, says it’s proof that Vermont is a great place to do business.
WCW Chairman John Wilkinson says Vermont did a good job putting together an incentive package for the company, which sells bedding to the medical and hospitality trades.
