Shortly after noon today, Broadway in Schenectady was reopened to traffic.

A jackknifed truck was blocking the street this morning near Congress Street.

The truck was wedged between two utility poles, preventing it from moving in either direction.

The result was the truck’s trailer was stretched across both lanes of Broadway, sending traffic on a detour into Mont Pleasant.

It was not immediately clear how the truck got stuck.

Meanwhile, onlookers stopped in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot and took pictures.
