The accident happened just after 8 a.m. just north of Fuller Station Road, when a car driven by Lisa Levy, 42, of Schenectady, crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a Town of Guilderland highway department sign truck.

Levy and the driver of the truck, Brian Wilson, 57, of Guilderland, were taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Levy had to be extricated by members of the Fort Hunter Fire Department.

The accident remained under investigation this afternoon. Alcohol did not appear to be a factor. Witnesses were asked to contact the Guilderland Police Department at 356-1501.
