A 34-year-old Schenectady man was charged today with robbing a Trustco Bank branch on State Street on Saturday.
Jacob Rivera was arrested today and charged with first-degree robbery. He allegedly robbed the branch at 1048 State St.
Schenectady police said he was charged after police observed him operating a motor vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle used in robbery.
Rivera faces a charge of first-degree robbery and was scheduled to be arraigned in City Court.
The Schenectady Police Department’s detective division and evidence technicians were continuing their investigation, a police department spokesman said.
