City police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on State Street near Hulett Street around 7 p.m. this evening.
The unidentified male victim was stabbed three times in the left side, police said. He was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital by Mohawk Ambulance, and was in “stable” condition with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Police Department spokesman Sgt. Matthew Dearing.
Police were looking Friday evening for a single male suspect, Dearing said.
