Wally Hart announced today he will leave his job as president and CEO of the Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and take a position at the Lexington Center.

Hart will become the Lexington Center’s new division director for community and business development. Lexington is Fulton County’s chapter of the New York State ARC. Hart will help find employment opportunities for people with disabilities, focus on business development, and help strengthen Lexington’s relationship with the community.

“The work is very similar to some of the things I do [at the Chamber],” Hart said. “I see an opportunity to help support Lexington’s Foundation and strengthen its background locally.”

Hart will stay on at the Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry for at least the next month. He said he hopes for a smooth transition while he finishes as many projects as possible.
