City police are investigating a shooting reported after an 18-year-old man walked into Ellis Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound this afternoon.
City Police spokesman Mark McCracken said the man wasn’t sure exactly where the shooting occurred, but suggested it was in the vicinity of Lake Boulevard. He was being treated for a wound to his leg that is not considered life-threatening.
McCracken said investigators are still trying to find the scene where the man was shot. He had no further details about the shooting.
