A city man was jailed without bail after police say he threatened a Montgomery County judge.

Miguel A. Carmona, 42, of 51 Vanderveer St., was charged Wednesday with making a terroristic threat, according to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s department.

Police in the release allege Carmona made the threat against an unidentified judge publicly and the Sheriff’s department was notified just before noon on Wednesday.

When apprehended, police said Carmona had a copy of an article posted on the Internet as well as a photo of the judge he’d allegedly threatened.

Following an investigation with the Amsterdam Police Department, Carmona was apprehended Wednesday evening, arraigned in Amsterdam Town Court and sent to the County Jail.
