A scam artist who police said ran a bogus loan service out of his Saratoga Springs home has pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny in Saratoga County Court.

Enrique DeJesus, also known as Richard Day, 34, was returned to New York from Tennessee in late May by city police after a lengthy investigation.

Police said DeJesus used his house in Saratoga Springs as his business address from late 2009 through 2010. He is was accused of taking money from individuals under the premise that he would secure loans for them for investment properties.

During the time under investigation, DeJesus lived at 38 Tyler Drive in Saratoga Springs and called his company Rapid Capital Group. He is accused of stealing up to $20,000 from five individuals from Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey.

DeJesus pleaded guilty to the grand larceny charge Wednesday and will be sentenced Dec. 1, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office.

In other county court action this week:

• Michael T. Garrick, of Fourth Avenue in Mechanicville, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny stemming from a June 2 arrest in Wilton. He will be sentenced Dec. 9.

• Michael A. Primelo, 47, of Montgomery, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny stemming from a May 19 arrest in Clifton Park. He will be sentenced Dec. 16.

• Tyler Randle, 21, of Feeder Dam Road in Moreau, was sentenced to six months in Saratoga County Jail and five years of probation. He had pleaded guilty in August to disseminating indecent material to minors and sexual misconduct stemming from a April 22 arrest in Milton.

• Courtney L. Henderson, 32, of Hathaway Road in Schuylerville, was sentenced to time served and five years of probation on a driving while intoxicated conviction stemming from an Aug. 13, 2010, arrest in Saratoga Springs.

• Donni P. Adams, 28, of Johnsonville, was re-sentenced to one to three years in prison after being convicted of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Albany County in 2008. Adams was originally sentenced to five years of probation but violated terms of probation.

• Matthew D. Todd, 30, of William Street in Corinth, was sentenced to time served and five years of probation after being convicted of first-degree criminal contempt in August stemming from a December 2010 arrest in Corinth.

• Anthony P. DeLaurie Jr., 34, of Daniels Road in Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to three years in state prison and two years of post-release supervision. He was convicted in June of criminal possession of a controlled substance stemming from an April arrest in Saratoga Springs and an earlier arrest in Westchester County.

• Tracy J. Novotny, 42, of Hamilton Street in Saratoga Springs, pleaded guilty to felony DWI stemming from a June 25 arrest in Corinth. Sentencing will be Dec. 18.

• William E. Bray, 32, of Atomic Project Road in Milton, pleaded guilty to attempted assault stemming from a March 25 arrest in the town of Milton. Sentencing will be Dec. 8.

• Peter W. Winslow II, 28, of Pine Street in Corinth, was sentenced to time served and five years of probation after being convicted of aggravated DWI with a child in the vehicle in June 2010 in Corinth.

• Celena M. Rich, 31, of Jefferson Terrace in Saratoga Springs, pleaded guilty to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance stemming from a March arrest in Saratoga Springs. She will be sentenced Dec. 8.

• Heather M. Purvee, 40, of Front Street in Ballston Spa, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance stemming from an Aug. 17 arrest in Ballston Spa. She will be sentenced Dec. 9.

• Charles Bushey, 30, of Troy, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of marijuana stemming from an April 6 arrest in Clifton Park. He will be sentenced Dec. 6.

• Stephen Ellis, 31, was sentenced to one to three years in state prison on an Aug. 19 conviction for first-degree attempted promotion of prison contraband.

• Marcus J. Dilorenzo, 23, of Timber Drive in Waterford, was sentenced to six months in Saratoga County Jail and five years of probation. He pleaded guilty in August to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance stemming from a Nov. 16, 2010, arrest in Saratoga Springs.
