A gas station in Colonie was robbed this morning by a man brandishing a black handgun, police said.
The suspect got away with $15, police said.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. this morning at the Sunoco A+ station at 62 Exchange St.
The suspect entered the store, showed the handgun and fled with the cash, police said. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid to late 20s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark knit cap and dark ski mask.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Colonie Police Department at 783-2744.
