City police are searching for two suspects from an armed robbery that occurred early Monday outside the Sacandaga Elks Lodge.

The two men reportedly displayed a gun when they robbed an Elks Lodge employee outside of the building at 120 Washington St. at approximately 5:40 a.m., said Gloversville Police Capt. John Sira. The victim was not injured during the incident, he said.

Sira said several people who were in the area at the time have been interviewed.

“We don’t have specifi c people of interest at this point,” he said. “But we’re following up on the investigation.”

The first suspect was described as approximately 6 feet tall, a thin black male with braided straight hair and gold teeth. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, with a black hooded jacket.

The second suspect was described only as a short black male. Gloversville police are asking that anyone with information related to the robbery contact the department.
