A 21-year-old Middleburgh man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $3,000 in auto parts from vehicles on a relative’s property.
Daniel Grinmanis of 1682 Huntersland Road allegedly took batteries, pumps and catalytic converters on or about Oct. 2 and sold them to Capital Scrap Metal Co. for $330, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
Grinmanis was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree auto stripping, both Class D felonies. He was arraigned in the Town of Rensselaerville and remanded without bail to the Albany County Correctional Facility.
