A city man faces drug charges, accused of possessing cocaine and heroin, police said.
Jose Cruz, 39, of Lincoln Avenue, was charged Monday with two counts of third-degree criminal controlled substance, felonies.
Cruz is accused of possessing 53 grams of cocaine and a small amount of heroin after a traffic stop on Route 9, near the Saratoga State Park, police said.
Cruz was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and speeding.
Cruz was arraigned and ordered held on $25,000 bail. He is to return to court Thursday.
