Two Saratoga County men have been charged with first-degree kidnapping and criminal sex act by force for allegedly taking a 15-year-old boy from an Albany-based counseling facility and having sex with him, authorities said today.
“They took him to various locations in Saratoga County and sexually assaulted him,” said Saratoga County District Attorney James A. Murphy III discussing the allegations.
State police at Malta arrested Timothy M. Kaye, 30, of Round Lake and Eric Loeser, 21, of Clifton Park on Wednesday evening. They are each charged with two felony counts: criminal sex act by force and first degree kidnapping.
The arrests came after an investigation by state police, Murphy said.
Both men were taken to Saratoga County Jail without bail after being arraigned Wednesday night in Malta Town Court. The suspects will return to Malta Court next week.
Published reports indicated that the victim, the boy who was allegedly assaulted, came from a facility connected with Parsons Child and Family Center in Albany, but Murphy said he could not confirm this.
