One man was shot dead and two other people were injured at a trendy nightspot where New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz was partying with friends.
Police say the shooting broke out around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday inside the Juliet Supper Club in Manhattan.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin said today that Cruz was not injured in the incident. The team is off on Tuesday so there was no curfew.
The shooting was not related to the party.
Police say the gunman and victim had argued.
Forty-three-year-old Artis Arthur was shot twice and killed. Police say a 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were shot and injured but in stable condition.
Police were still searching for the suspected gunman today.
