A man was injured this morning after jumping from an Interstate 787 bridge.
Police received a call at about 11 a.m. of a 24-year-old man jumping from the Interstate 787 south ramp to Interstate 90 east. The man was found on the side of I-787 in Albany. He is critically injured and transported to Albany Medical Center, according to police. It is expected that he will survive.
New York State Police were assisted at the scene by Albany Police and Albany firefighters. The investigation is continuing. Anyone who witnessed the incident can call police at 783-3211.
