A dispute allegedly over loud music led to a stabbing death on Monday.

Police responded to 201/203 Elm St. around 11:30 p.m. for a report about neighborhood trouble and when they arrived on the scene they found Latoya Ebron, 26, with a stab wound to her midsection. She was transported to Albany Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Tina Karuzas, 27, was arrested for the stabbing and charged with manslaughter in the first degree, a class B felony. She has since been arraigned in city court and remanded to Schenectady County Jail.

Police discovered the knife used in the stabbing at the scene of the crime, but no other information about the ongoing investigation was available this afternoon.
