Fire investigators were back at the scene this morning of a large house explosion on Avenue B to search for clues as to what caused the blast.
Firefighters were putting out hot spots during the overnight hours from both the remnants of the house that exploded at 2164 Avenue B and the house that caught on fire next door at 2160-2162 Avenue B, according to Deputy Fire Chief Michael Gillespie.
Fire officials hoped to have more details in the afternoon.
