A 62-year-old Amsterdam man has been charged in connection with having contact with a minor housed at Tryon Girls Division for Youth Facility while he worked there.
Dixon R. Rodriguez, of 47 VanDerVeer St., Amsterdam, was charged Thursday with felony sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and official misconduct.
Rodriguez allegedly had contact with a 16-year-old girl at the facility when he worked there in 2011. He was issued an appearance ticket for March 12 in Perth Town Court.
