The list of restaurants participating in the third annual Saratoga County Restaurant Week, which starts Friday and runs for 10 days, features an additional 15 restaurants this year.
A total of 40 eateries from Clifton Park north to Wilton are offering three-course dinners at a fixed price of $20.12.
More than a dozen restaurants in the city of Saratoga Springs alone are participating in the event.

“This whole region is known for their eating establishments,” said Fran Dingeman, general manager of the Anastos Media Group, which owns four radio stations in the Capital Region.
The annual restaurant week is presented by Star 101.3 FM, “Saratoga County’s Hometown Radio Station,” one of the Anastos group stations.
“It’s a tribute to them,” Dingeman said about the restaurants participating in the restaurant week, which runs over two weekends.
“There is a wonderful selection, everything from casual to elegant dining,” she said.
For example, Hattie’s Restaurant at 45 Phila St. in Saratoga Springs will have a special fixed price menu for the week. Owner Jasper Alexander said his restaurant will offer an appetizer, a dinner entree, and a dessert entree.
The selections for dinner will include Hattie’s famous southern-style chicken, as well as other favorites such as red beans and rice and southern-style pork chops. A variety of Hattie’s pies will be offered for dessert.
“It’s a good promotion,” Alexander said of restaurant week. “March is really weather-dependent; if the weather is good, the people come out.”
Saratoga County Restaurant Week, however, often brings people out even when the weather isn’t ideal.
Because of the recent warm weather, Hattie’s has its back deck open from Tuesday through Saturday and is offering Saturday and Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dingeman advises those planning to take advantage of restaurant week to call ahead and make reservations.
Radio station Star 101.3 FM is running interviews with restaurant owners, managers and chefs this week and next.
