State Police arrested a man and a woman from Rochester on felony drug charges after they uncovered a large amount of cocaine in a vehicle that was stopped leaving the Camp Bisco festival early Sunday morning.
Joshua R. Dangler, 24, and Tisha A. Brice, 19, both of Rochester, were arrested on two felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance. They were also cited with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Troopers initially stopped the vehicle driven by Brice on Batter Street and noticed that Dangler, a passenger in the car, was acting erratically and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. Investigators then recovered roughly six ounces of cocaine stashed inside the vehicle.
In addition, troopers recovered hallucinogenic mushrooms, MDMA or the drug more commonly know as ecstasy, and marijuana. Dangler was found to be under the influence of bath salts and was taken to Ellis Hospital for medical care due to his erratic behavior, according to police.
Brice was arraigned in Duanesburg Town Court and remanded to the Schenectady County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond. Dangler was arraigned at the hospital and later remanded to the Schenectady County Jail without bail.
