A 1-year-old boy from Ballston sustained non-life-threatening injuries when struck by a car at the Clifton Park Center mall this morning, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department said.
The boy, who was not identified, got away from a parent and ran into a driving lane in the parking lot at about 11:40 a.m., deputies said. He was hit by a car driven by Jasen Strube, 23, of Round Lake.
The boy sustained head and facial injuries and was taken to Saratoga Hospital by Clifton Park-Halfmoon emergency medical services. Deputies said the injuries were not life-threatening.
No charges were filed.
