State police say decomposed remains found in the woods in northern New York are those of a Pennsylvania man who disappeared last month.
Troopers say an autopsy showed 45-year-old Keith Gill killed himself with a gunshot to the head.
Gill, of Chester, Pa., was last seen at a family summer home on Loon Lake and was reported missing Aug. 19. His remains were found Friday less than a mile from where his car was discovered last month in Crown Point, 90 miles north of Albany.
The cause of death was released Tuesday.
