State police have ticketed a 31-year-old Saratoga Springs man for allegedly operating his 2004 Suzuki motorcycle in excess of 100 miles per hour on Route 9 in Malta.
Michael J. Nosal was issued a ticket for excessive speed and operating out of class for allegedly not having a motorcycle endorsement on his license. He was arrested at 11:10 a.m. Thursday.
State police say he was going 110 miles per hour northbound on state Route 9. The speed limit on that stretch of Route 9 is 55 miles per hour. The motorcylist also received a ticket for failure to signal. Nosal is scheduled to appear in Malta Town Court on Oct. 4.
