The blues rock Tedeschi Trucks Band will perform at the Palace Theatre in Albany Dec. 2.

The 11-member band, fronted by the husband and wife team of Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, contains members of both artists’ bands, incuding brothers Oteil Burbridge (longtime bassist with The Allman Brothers Band) and Kofi Burbridge (keyboardist/flutist with The Derek Trucks Band), a pair of drummers J.J. Johnson and Tyler Greenwell, and a horn-section with trumpeter Maurice Brown, tenor saxophonist Kebbi Williams, and trombonist /vocalist Saunders Sermons.

Trucks, a Grammy Award winner and longtime member of the Allman Brothers Band, was named No. 16 on the Rolling Stones list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Tedeschi, also a noted guitar player, in known for her huge blues voice.

Tickets for the Dec. 2 show are $79, $59 and $39 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Palace box office, 19 Clinton Ave, Albany, at Ticketmaster outlets or at 800-745-3000.
