Detectives have arrested two Glenville men on felony sex abuse charges in unrelated cases.
Patrick J. Hartley, 52, of Birch Lane allegedly sexually abused a child in 2005. The child was 8 years old at the time.
Hartley was arraigned in Glenville Town Court and released on $5,000 cash bail. He is due back in court on Oct. 9.
In a separate case, Philip A. Shoemaker, 55, of Heritage Parkway was also charged with one felony count of first-degree sexual abuse.
Shoemaker is accused of sexually abusing an adult female on Aug. 21. The abuse allegedly occurred at the home of the suspect.
Hartley was arraigned in Glenville Town Court and released on $1,000 cash bail. He is scheduled for another court appearance on Oct. 30.
