A man who was found unconscious at the intersection of Broadway and Lake Avenue in Saratoga Springs early this morning has been hospitalized in critical condition.
Saratoga Springs police say they responded about 2 a.m. to a report of a serious personal injury accident. When they arrived, they found the man in the roadway with a taxi stopped nearby. Few details are available yet as to what happened, but police say the cab was involved and anyone else who was involved has been accounted for.
The man was taken to Saratoga Hospital and then flown by helicopter to Albany Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition this morning.
The incident remains in the preliminary stages of investigation. Police say they are not releasing the names of anyone involved in the incident.
