The Capital Region could become home to a Costco Wholesale store, according to a story in Wednesday’s Syracuse Post-Standard.
According to the article, the warehouse club has plans to open a store in Camillus, which will be its first in Upstate New York. Joseph Goethe, the project’s developer, told the Post-Standard that sites for future stores in Albany and Rochester are also being considered.
A call to Costco’s corporate office was not immediately returned.
