Organizers have announced a new host of artists expected to perform at Camp Bisco this summer, but are holding back one “special” performer they plan to announce at a later date.
The poster announcing the second round of performers also promises a “surprise act to come” when the three-day music festival touches down at the Indian Lookout Country Club on July 11. Chad Sheerer, a spokesman for the festival, said the new act will be named in the coming weeks.
On Thursday, Camp Bisco announced nearly a dozen new acts. They include Excision presents Destroid Live; Madeon; Danny Brown; Seven Lions; Bondax; Digital Tape Machine; Moon Boots; Perseus; Strip Steve; Autobody; Alpha Data and Manhattan Project.

Bassnectar, Passion Pit, STS9 and Wolfgang Gartner and Baauer — the artist who went viral with “Harlem Shake” — are among the eclectic blend of acts joining the Disco Biscuits at the annual Camp Bisco festival this summer. Now in its seventh year, the festival draws tens of thousands of fans each year and has stirred plenty of controversy in the small community surrounding Mariaville Lake.
Though the festival typically attracts independent and developing artist, it has drawn big name acts. Snoop Dog performed at the festival in 2009, Method Man performed in 2010, and the Grammy-winning artist Skrillex headlined last year’s festival.
