WESTPORT — State police say a Ballston Spa man has been killed in an ATV accident in the Adirondacks.
They say 49-year-old Tyler Middleton was riding on a logging road in the town of Westport when he rolled off the trail and down a small embankment just before 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Troopers say Middleton was trapped under the overturned ATV and asphyxiated.
Middleton was riding alone and investigators are trying to determine the cause of the accident.
Westport is on Lake Champlain, 106 miles north of Albany.
