A man accused of stabbing another man outside Northern Lights nightclub in 2011 in Clifton Park was found guilty of second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon but was acquitted of the most serious charge against him, first-degree assault.
A Saratoga County jury returned its verdict this morning in the trial of Daniel Taylor, 29, of East Caroga Lake. The jury deliberated for three days following the two-week trial that started April 15.
Taylor stood trial for stabbing then-40-year-old Joseph Fritz of Schenectady in the stomach.
