Niskayuna police are looking for information to help solve two burglaries that were committed over the weekend, possibly while residents were home.
The burglaries both happened at homes on Rosehill Boulevard in the Rosendale Estates neighborhood, possibly Sunday night and into Monday morning.
In at least one of the burglaries, the doors were locked and it appears a rear door may have been pried open, police said.
Neither homeowner encountered the suspects, but police said it is likely that the residents were home and asleep during the break-ins.
Cash and electronics were taken from downstairs rooms in both houses.
Detectives are following up on leads and reaching out to surrounding agencies to see if they had similar incidents.
Anyone who believes they have any information on the break-ins is asked to contact the Niskayuna Police Department at 374-3159.
