Four teenagers admitted to stealing thousands of dollars of items from a home on Englehart Road in May.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department began investigating a report of jewelry, coins and personal items being stolen from a home on May 8. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that four suspects, who were familiar with the schedules of the home’s occupants, entered the house multiple times to remove items.
The jewelry that was stolen and pawned at two locations in Saratoga County had an estimated value of about $10,000.
According to a police news release, Caroline R. Garrity, 18, of Saratoga Springs, Michaela N. Luciano, 17, of Malta, Caitlyn E. Moynihan, 17, of Malta, and Morgan C. Delprado, 17, of Burnt Hills, were all arrested in the robbery. They were all charged with one count of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, and arraigned in Town Court before being released to their parents.
All four of them admitted to their roles in the crime, according to the release. They are due back in court on June 11.
