Window washers trapped near top of NYC skyscraper

NEW YORK — Firefighters are working to rescue two window washers stuck on a New York City skyscraper.

The workers are trapped on a scaffold near the top of the Hearst Building in midtown Manhattan.

A department spokeswoman says only that the rescue operation is in progress.
