Saratoga Springs police have arrested two men and charged them with burglarizing a city home and going through more than 75 vehicles in a 10-block area.

Miles J. Hawes, 22, of Fourth Street in Watervliet and Daniel T. Clow, 23, of Simon Lane in Latham were charged early Thursday with felony counts of burglary and grand larceny. Both also were booked on misdemeanor charges of criminal tampering and petty larceny.

Police alleged Hawes and Clow burglarized a house on the east side of the city and went through vehicles parked on Lake Avenue south to Fifth Avenue and East Avenue east to the Northway overpass.

Hawes and Clow were arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail each.

Police are asking anyone who may have been a victim of a burglary or larceny from a vehicle early Thursday to contact at 584-1800.
