A 55-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest in Schenectady’s Hamilton Hill neighborhood

A 55-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest in Schenectady’s Hamilton Hill neighborhood late Saturday.

According to Schenectady police, the shooting occurred in the area of 926 Emmett St. around 11:30 p.m.

Police said the victim was treated on the scene by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and transported to Albany Medical Center.
