A search is to resume for a woman who was swept away after an inflatable raft overturned in a rain-swollen Saratoga County creek.
Officials tell local media outlets that a search was done Sunday morning along the bank of the Kayaderosseras (KAY-der-ross) Creek in Malta, but the water was still rushing too fast for a boat search.
A family of five was boating on the creek in a raft on Friday evening when it overturned. A man and three children got out of the water but a woman didn’t make it to shore.
Rivers and streams in the area were running high and fast after heavy downpours Friday.
The search is to resume on Monday.
