COLONIE – A passenger in a car that struck a tree Sunday afternoon died today from her injuries, police said.
Diane Struss, 57, of Troy, was taken to Albany Medical Center after the 4 p.m. crash on Old Niskayuna Road. She succumbed to her injuries this morning, police said.
The driver of the car, identified as Steven Struss, 61, also of Troy, was taken to Albany Medical Center with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened in the area of West Cobble Hill Road, police said.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
