A bridge over the Hudson River in the Albany area will be closed for several hours while crews repair damage from a tractor-trailer crash earlier this month.
The state Department of Transportation says the 126th Street Bridge carrying Route 4 over the river between North Troy in Rensselaer County and Waterford in southern Saratoga County will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
DOT officials say crews will be repairing a cross-bracing member that was damaged when a tractor-trailer crashed on the span on the morning of July 7.
During the six-hour closure, motorists should use the 112th Street Bridge, which carries Route 470 over the river between Cohoes and Troy.
